Thank you for your interest in our webinar “Natural Surface Trail Tread Maintenance ~ Part 2 of 3.”
This webinar has already passed but you can purchase the archived webinar recording today! Please note, CEUs are only available when you attend a LIVE webinar.
Please note that each webinar is independent of the other so you do not have to attend all three in this particular series. You can just attend one or you can attend two or all three.
A part of the American Trails Advancing Trails Webinar Series, this is the second in a series of three webinars on Trail Maintenance Management brought to you by Chinook Associates LLC and American Trails. The webinar “Natural Surface Trail Tread Maintenance” will introduce the concept of managing the surface flow of water on a trail tread. Participants will review and understand the application and purpose of a grade dip, waterbar, check dam, and berm removal in managing the surface flow of water on a trail tread. Attendees will better understand the dynamic impact of water on the trail tread surface and how these types of structures may impact the sustainability of the trail and the recreational experience.
