American Trails Donation

Your contribution helps us help trails!

Outside Magazine recognizes American Trails as a top organization working to make this a better world!

2011 was a great year for American Trails! Because of your work and dedication, the national trails community has built new trails, connected more people to nature, and increased accessibility to healthier lifestyles.

Our work as a trails community, supporting trails for all, led Outside Magazine to name American Trails as one of the top 30 organizations working to make this a better world. Check out "The Outside Guide to Fixing the World" in their December issue. We have ambitious plans for 2012-- so ambitious that we'll only achieve our goals with unprecedented help from and collaboration with members of the trails community.

American Trails pledges to continue to follow your lead-- creatively finding ways to stretch small dollars into grand legacies. Through innovative partnerships, education and training for grassroots trails organizations, and outreach to policy makers, we are looking toward 2012 as a pivotal year in our country's trail history.
